Frequently Asked Questions

I have not gotten a cleaning in over three years. What can I expect?

We understand that life gets in the way sometimes; there is no judgment on our end. After two to three years, the tartar buildup may start to dip beneath your gum line, potentially leading to the need for a deep cleaning. Not to worry, our hygienists are very qualified!

How often should I get my teeth cleaned?

The ADA recommends getting your teeth cleaned at least once every six months. Talk to your hygienist for a plan on desired cleaning frequency.

What should I do at home?

The ADA recommends brushing your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, flossing at least once a day. See our “home care” page for our recommendations on products and more home care.
